It's been a great festival so far. The media is being treated really well and I've been able to conduct one-on-one interviews with Ronny Munroe of Metal Church, Lips of Anvil, Biff of Saxon and Brian Vollmer of Helix. These will be posted in the features section at a later date.

It's almost time I embark on the journey to Pryor, Oklahoma to cover the biggest U.S. metal festival for Metal Mayhem UK.
Opening day of the third annual festival, Thursday, July 9th, has the most heaviest bands playing in its existence.
The list includes; Leatherwolf, Metal Church, Anvil, Overkill, Saxon, and headliners Anthrax.
Yours truly will be taking live photos of each band's set and posting live blogs. And if everything goes as planned, I will be interviewing Biff Byford of Saxon, Ronny Munroe and Kurdt Vanderhoof of Metal Church, as well as others through out the three of four days I will be attending.

Rocklahoma, known for its abundance of 80s hair metal bands, begins its third annual festival July 9th.

Hosted on a 400-acre farm site in the sweltering summer humidity in Oklahoma, the event is attracting bigger and better bands each year.

Bands playing on the main stage this year include Anthrax, Saxon, Overkill, Anvil, RATT, Lizzy Borden, Metal Church, Twisted Sister, Helix and more.

A Metal Mayhem reporter will cover three of the four days with live blogs and photo galleries.
