This year marks the 15th anniversary of the bands formation as well as the release of their debut "Foul Taste Of Freedom".

"The Tenth Crusade" could be considered a concept album, as it looks at the similarities between the U.S. led "War On Terrorism" and the historical Crusades. You won't be surprised to hear that Pro-Pain have once again stuck to what they do best, heavy Metal-tinged Hardcore, with their renowned political and anti-governmental lyrical themes. This time though they focus more on the whole George W. Bush / Iraq War thing.

I've had this for a while now, and it is still growing on me with each listen. Fantastic and intriguing lyrics, and the music is just everything that is so great about Pro-Pain. Aggressive, Metallic Hardcore at its finest, easily by far the best thing I have ever heard from Pro-Pain. They have really pulled out all the stops on this one, and have gone all out with the heavy artillery.

The biggest surprise on here though, was "Beyond the Pale" (featuring Matthew Bizilia from Icarus Witch) which is probably the most melodic track on the album, turned out to be one of the highlights. For those who have yet to discover Pro-Pain, throw down your second-rate "wimpy" Metalcore and come and see how it's done properly. For fans, you will know what to expect!
