Talk about a tease, which, exactly what this is. A five track, 15 minute EP, which contains some fantastic Blackened/Technical Death Metal. Not more "Death Metal" I hear you say, but these Swedes take the finest aspects of Swedish Death Metal and combine it with black melodies as well as faster "thrashier" moments. "Unholy" really is an enthralling EP that showcases and very promising band. There are also times when My Own Grave add their own, modern, yet technical touch to things that result in a rather groovy and ultra-catchy album. If you've ever heard the Polish Death Metal band, Trauma, you'll understand what I mean. The production is also worth mentioning; crisp, clear and everything upfront, they are a band that hasn't forgotten how to use a bass on their recordings.
