With a line-up packed full of seasoned musicians, Eden's Curse is a brand new project that has not played together for that long, yet have already released their debut. With this, their self-titled debut, we're treated to 14 tracks of mid-paced, European style hard rock. Not that there's anything at all wrong with hard rock, but when the album just stays mid-paced throughout without any real tempo changes, the individual tracks tend to just bleed together. There are some nice melodies and some killer riffs throughout the album, but there is just this aura of "Deja Vu" that lingers when listening to "Eden's Curse". Even though it's obvious that they've played this album safe and kept things fairly simple, there are signs of brilliance that emerge throughout the album that shows an exciting side to the band.
