The Solution's new album 'Will Not Be Televised' set for release in the UK in February 2008.
Formed by Nicke Anderson (Hellacopters, ex-Entombed) and Detroit scene legend Scott Morgan (The Rationals, Sonic Rendezvous Band etc.) The Solution can be described as an unabashed trip back to the soul groups of the '60s, a recording project that has also become a live unit.
While 'Will Not Be Televised' has been released in Sweden in December breaking the dull Xmas charts, The Solution are now finally gearing up for a full European release. Plans for possible European shows are also being discussed.
Here's what Nicke has to say:
"I first met Scott Morgan in ´98 when my band THE HELLACOPTERS played N.Y.C. the first time. It meant a great deal to us since Detroit's SONIC'S RENDEZVOUS BAND, which Scott had formed with ex-MC5 guitarist Fred Smith in the early 70šs after the break up of his previous bands THE RATIONALS and LIGHTNING, was and still is a major inspiration on our music. Ever since I heard him sing on a poor quality S.R.B. live bootleg record hešs been one of my absolute favorite singers. I thought he had that extra little something a truly great singer needs. I later realized what it was and I believe it's called soul."
