Following their sell out tour in
March, rockers Buckcherry return to the UK in June for two dates in Bournemouth and Cheltenham, before
headlining the Download Festival and playing cupid for one cool canine!
The band will select the hottest rock goddess
to pair with the infamous Download Dog in their "Crazy Bitch" contest.
The live show is a chance to
experience the raw rock energy bottled in their album and videos. "A masterclass in lustful dynamics...Whether you're into emo, country or metal, if you've
got any rock'n'roll nerves left intact, then Buckcherry will light them up"! Malcolm Dome, CLASSIC ROCK MAGAZINE
June 2007
Tuesday 5th - Bournemouth, The Old Firestation
Wednesday 6th - Cheltenham, Nightowl Club
Friday 8th - Donnington, Download Festival
Fans interested in the Download Dog "Crazy Bitch" contest are asked to upload photos to the Download
website, where people will vote for the top ten to be presented to the
band. A blind date with a mongrel mascot
has its perks: the winner will receive four VIP passes to enjoy the Festival and
meet Buckcherry backstage!
The contest is inspired by Buckcherry's hit single "Crazy
Bitch", which was the 2nd most played rock song of
2006 on U.S. radio and remains one of the most downloaded ringtones The
album, "Fifteen", reached No.2 in the American indie chart.
This isn't the first time Buckcherry have used the Internet to reach out to their
fans. Their raunchy video for "Crazy
Bitch" features strippers cast from an open call on their page. The band will hopefully be back in
the UK in November for some more dates and are currently on tour in the USA.
