Anvil's Lips gives update on new CD
In a brief e-mail, Anvil's singer/guitarist Steve "Lips" Kudlow wrote that the follow-up to 2007's This is Thirteen has been written but not recorded.
A producer has not been selected, but Lips is hoping to land master knob-twirler Chris Tsangarides again. Tsangarides produced Metal on Metal in 1982, as well as This is Thirteen.
The CD, Juggernaut of Justice, still has no release date.
What can fans expect from the new material? Lips simply said: "More Anvil!"

Five releases and more than a decade later, Cage is ready to catapult to new heights within the global metal community. God Dethroned Interview
"That’s difficult to answer because I wanted to write an album about WWI, but I didn’t want to refer to a certain country. I didn’t want to take a political stand. I didn’t want to say something good or bad about a certain country, so I tried to write the whole album from a neutral point of view, which made it difficult. I had to write lyrics about objective things that happened during WWI without referring to a certain country, so I tried to pick out certain events and describe them!"
